There are many ways to become involved with the Historical Society! Help us preserve Narragansett’s rich and interesting history by helping to write the town’s history, research a topic of interest to you for a presentation, become a guide during one of our tours, or help organize or promote an event. Volunteer at the Ocean Road 10K
The Ocean Road 10K is held annually – the first Sunday in October. Gray Matter Marketing graciously makes a donation to the Narragansett Historical Society for every person registered. We, in turn, help provide volunteers the day of and the day before the race. If interested in volunteering for the next Ocean Road 10K, contact Sue Bush at suhubu@gmail.com.

We are a membership-driven non-profit organization. Virtually all of our funds are from donations, including annual memberships, as we provide our programs and information at little or no cost. We are grateful to all of our members and sponsors.
